What are your rugs made of?
All of our hand knotted rugs and oushaks are made of 100 percent New Zealand wool, making them one of the most durable materials for rugs and textiles in general. All hand knotted rugs should be made with wool. If they're not- don't buy it!
Are the rugs durable for kids and pets?
Yes! We have kids and pets too! Our rugs stand the test of time and are significantly more durable than synthetic rugs. Bonus: they can easily be spot cleaned and hold up against natural ware and tear of busy families.
I don't see the size rug I need!
You can select a custom pre-order oushak at no additional cost. Please email us and we will get you exactly what you need!
Why are oushaks expensive?
All of our rugs are hand knotted and there are over 100k knots in one rug which takes up to four months to be loomed. Compared to synthetic rug where the fibers are glued to a backing, this is a piece of art and not machine made.
What is your return policy?
All rugs an be returned within three days of receipt for store credit or a 25 percent restocking fee. If the rug is custom made, you will receive store credit. All rugs must be shipped via our preferred shipping partners (Fed Ex or UPS). Please allow three weeks for a refund.
Where are your rugs made?
All of our hand knotted rugs are made in both India and Turkey.
If you order a pre-order rug, it takes 120+ days to be made. Each rug is hand dyed, hand-knotted, and hand-finished making it a piece of art for your home.
A type of knot is personal preference, both are extremely high quality. Persian knots have one open loop making it softer and traditionally have a higher pile. Turkish knots have a double symmetrical knot, making it more durable and traditionally have a lower pile.
You may cancel your in-stock or pre-order rug within 48 hours. If you choose to cancel after 48 hours, you will receive store credit.
Yes, any hand made product has variances and that goes for hand-knotted rugs too. It is industry standard that your rug will likely have a variance of 1-3" and a variance in color 5-15 percent from any of the colors we are matching. Due to the nature of this handmade product, this is something we have to communicate because we cannot guarantee perfection since this is not a machine made rug.
The majority of loom competitors all share the same vendors. There is no difference in quality. Palindrome Home is choosing to offer more affordable quality goods to all.
Yes! If you find a pre-order oushak that is a better price than ours, we price-match. We have the best prices in the industry and stand by that! Keep in mind, sometimes companies have inventory they are trying to get rid of. We do not match in-stock inventory.

Can I cancel my order?
*Custom Rugs may take longer than 120 days due to approval processes. If your rug is a custom rug it is not eligible for any return or late refund.
